My approach to teaching the sport...
"The coaches have the difficult mission of teaching to play a sport, prepare the player in all its facets and assimilate intangible concepts of the game." The secrets of a good training session are in inculcating the player the multiple concepts that the sport requires to turn the player into a complete athlete. The goal of the coach is to teach all aspects of the game, thoroughly. Here I will explain the parts that any session should have. However, when putting them into practice, we will use exercises that contain all the points to work, that is, jointly and not independently. Categories of exercises to train: Categorizing the exercises helps us to understand each other, and understand the theory and benefits of each exercise but not for practice. Given that there are multiple knowledge and related approaches, deep down, training is a return to the origin of thought, and how it is organized and consolidated in the brain and body. Seven aspects to take into account in each football exercise. In my point of view, the question is: What aspects should be taken into account to perform the tasks? CONFIGURE THE BRAIN It is necessary to stimulate the brain with decision-making in a free and spontaneous way, but diverse and with tolerance to error. If the player is discovering the most effective ways with the guidance of the trainer, then athlete's brain is assimilating responses that will then be executed. It is what is called "creating previous experiences." Materials such as cones, fences or barriers allow the player to have visual references that will allow them to exercise and react to the opponent at the moment of the game. COMMUNICATING AND BEHAVIOR The relationship with the rest of the team members is basic, as well as respect for rules, regulations and the learning of sports values. Our values as people, shapes our values as a player. To control young athletes the coach can always use his/her voice, but it is advisable to use a set of signs to avoid running out of voice such as the use of whistles and signals, both for training and during the game use the same sign. This is highly useful in the case of needing to give instruction to the fullback on the furthest sideline from the coach during a match. DOMINATE THE BODY To run, jump, turn, change the rhythm and perform any technical action coordination is basic. Learning increases if this facet is mastered first, so it should become the mission of the trainers of the earliest age groups. General and specific skills define our subsequent technical actions. One of the materials used for training is the ladder for speed/agility/footwork or reaction because they allow to exercise different types of movements. PERCEPTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT Visualize what happens around us. The ball sometimes is not the important thing, but the reading and visualization we make of the movements of teammates and rivals. Having a good peripheral vision, being attentive, focused, knowing how to interpret the situations of the game must be fundamental. Practicing other sports helps. OPTIMAL PHYSICAL PREPARATION Adding degrees of difficulty and resistance in a game (or drill), which is part of the exercise as an addition, is always an important complement. Each task must have assigned a degree of effort, which will obviously be linked to the performance of the player. Improving the work of force to prevent injuries is also a task to be taken into account after 15 years. Materials such as weights and weights can be of help to players older than 15 years old. ATTITUDE AND MOTIVATION Work psychologically with all the players. Help, motivate, give confidence, and always a Reward! With low self-esteem, it is difficult to flourish the rest of qualities, in addition to the effects of collective performance. No materials of any kind are necessary, a pat on the back, a clap or a phrase are enough. TECHNICAL EXECUTION Although it will be the players themselves who will find out which are the most effective technical moves, it is good to guide them without limitations. Keep in mind, though there are many moves that can beat an opponent, the passes in variety, and with all skill and technique that is taught.... Do passes always have to be given with the interior? Most yes, but not all. Should we hit with the instep? It depends. The player must master the techniques, but understand that their implementation will depend on the playing situation that the soccer game demands. A good training session consists of these seven points, in which players will improve all aspects of the game. Football is a whole, although the tendency has always been to divide it into its parts. A good Football coach has to know how to unite it. PACO LOBATO ATLETICO NM
